功能利用 Windows Installer 清理實用工具，可以刪除程式的 Windows Installer 配置信息。如果您遇到安裝（安裝程式）問題，可能需要刪除程式的 Windows Installer 配置信息。例如，第一次安裝程式時沒有包括其中的某個組件，如果添加（或刪除）此組件時遇到安裝問題，您也許不得不刪除該程式的 Windows Installer 配置信息。Windows Installer Cleanup Utility（Windows Installer 清除工具）。Windows Installer CleanUp Utility，可以刪除某個程式地Windows Installer配置信息。如果您在安裝程式的時候遇到了Windows Installer方面的問題，不妨試試用它刪掉以前程式的安裝信息後再試。注意事項Windows Installer CleanUp Utility不含有以下功能：- 刪除Windows Installer本身。- 卸載由Windows Installer安裝的任何程式或檔案，比如Office 2003。Windows Installer CleanUp Utility可以做到：-軟體將顯示出一個列出了當前經Windows Installer安裝上去的程式列表，您可以選中您軟體名稱然後刪掉此軟體的Windows Installer安裝信息。- 移除選定軟體在檔案和註冊表中保存的相關配置信息。注意：如果您想使用此工具來刪除先前的配置信息並再次安裝軟體，我們推薦您前後兩次安裝都指向相同的路徑。這樣可以最大限度避免程式檔案重複存在於硬碟上進而節省硬碟空間。
